Last but not least…

Thanks for tuning in to this week’s posts about the what, why, how, and who of goal setting! I hope you found the suggestions encouraging and doable.  Writing the content definitely made me take a second look at my own goal-setting strategies (it’s one thing to know what to do and another to do it, so I’ve been feeling challenged to take my own words to heart!) 

One last thought I’d like to leave you with on this topic – working towards a goal is a process, and perfection is not required.  Some days you’ll stick to your plans and other days the plan may go completely out the window.  That is ok.  That is real life.  The point of goals is not to demand perfection from yourself.  The point is to give yourself direction and purpose.  If you are feeling weighed down by your goals rather than inspired, maybe there is an attitude of perfectionism that needs to be dealt with first. 

Challenge for today: We often spend a lot of time focusing on what we’ve done wrong or how we can do better. Tell yourself three things you did well this week or that you like about yourself.  Feel free to share one of those positive things about yourself below.   I’ll start…
